I had them acting weird on the north pole, had to put panels facing all angles to get it to work.
EDIT-- All = N, S, E, W
No, not even close. I'm on the edge of a swampy lake.
!. what devices do you have powered?--using too much power and never storing
2. Pick up cap and replace it---glitch
3. what size panels?---using too much power and never storing
Press P, how much power are you producing vs consuming?
I'm producing 2.56MW while consuming only 161KW. That should be more than enough to charge the batteries, right ?
Can you send me your save game to have a look at it please here:
https://empyriononline.com/threads/bug-reports-alpha-8-0.38176/
SP saves are found here:
SteamLibrary\steamapps\Common\Empyrion - Galactic Survival\Saves\Games
Right click on the save file & place your mouse cursor over 'Send to' create a compressed copy of it then drag & drop a copy into the reply box or use the upload a file option on the forum.
If the file is too large use a file hosting site like mediafire, dropbox or google drive then add a share link to it.
Thanks.
My thoughts to O.o and yeh I noticed not really gettign much of a charge either but I really don't know how to tell if I am overusing the power lol. I keep turning off my food processor and constructor when not using them but it;s annoying to have to keep track of when it;s done etc.. do they consume power when they are idle? Otherwise the only thing I know of that would be taking energy I think is my grow light and doors? and 'a fridge' I suppose.
I might be mistaken. For some reason i thought there was another device you had to put in your base in order for the solar panels to work :S. I've been watching a lot of youtubes and i might have gotten it confused with something else.
I would like to know this also. If I have some panels and a capacitor, then what is this "controller" thing please?
there is no 'controller' that i know of
