Wow Banned from Empyrion Homeworld Server
Was talking to somebody in chat who gave me an answer to my question. I replied with

Well sh*t, guess I am screwed. I get a green pop up warning me to watch my language then kick banned.


Wow, just wow. It's not like I swore at any person. Anybody know of any good US severs that are not power drunk with bans?

Pretty sure that is some kind of auto feature. POSSIBLY with a mod just gets a bubble with actions to take.
The question is, was there ever any kind of server information on no swearing.
I believe in zero tollerance policies. (I have not joined a server yet, but that is commonplace)

I did not see any MOTD when I joined the server. And I can appreciate banning people who swear at people in a profan way. But I was casually talking and used the word to express my situation. Im a grown adult and didnt event think twice. I was trying to read the pop up warning when I got banned. The server doesnt even show up now.


Wasted 2 days on that server for 1 word to get me banned. Oh well moving on, Lesson learned.

Pretty sure that's a scripted (probably temporary) ban.

I been trying to get back in for almost an hour. I couldnt read exactly what the green popup said, because game chat is a bit funky, with how it scrolls so fast. Within seconds I was banned and server doesnt even show up. Looking for a new server to play on.

thats really weird if there was no MOTD. Like, how would you know. pretty crazy

You were on HWS NA server, I even remember your name.

You get 7 language warnings per 24 hour period, and if you break that you're only banned for 2 hours.

The server crashed, everyone got booted off, no crazy admin is out to get you.

Also, protip: if you're banned, you can still probably see the server in the list. Since you can't see the server in the list (like the rest of us can't atm) your first guess should probably be server issues, not that you were somehow autobanned instantly.

Empyrion doesn't support MOTD yet, just FYI. Only the server description. Most servers put rules in a steam group

Thanks, I never been banned from them so I didnt know how it works. I saw the green warning thing and then was kicked, so I thought I was banned. My apologies
