How does one change the direction of a gravity generator?

Hey guys sorry for the trouble but I was playing Empyrion and I accidentally pressed a button or something and it seems the gravity generators in my capital ship messed up. Now they're all sending me down to the side of the ship rather than the bottom of it. I think I must have changed the direction of the gravity generator somehow butt I don't remember which button I pressed. Does anybody know how to control which direction the gravity generator sets as down?

Use the Insert and Delete keys to change the axis on which it rotates and the home and end keys to rotate it. The surface that the base of the generator is placed on will be the floor. So if you mount it sideways on a wall that wall will be the floor and you will fall to the wall every time you turn on the gravity.

Thanks guys, but no matter which surface I place the generator on it always makes me fall to the sides :(

Are you sure it's on?

Have you tried verifying integrity of your game cache. This looks like one of those glitches that can be cleared up that way.

Or maybe you placed other gravity generators and their gravity is affecting you more. One time, I wanted my gravity generators out of the way so I flipped them upside down and attached them to the ceiling... They counteracted the planet's gravity and I shot up and landed upside down on the ceiling.

Thanks guys, it stopped after I loaded an earlier save. Guess it was a bug ;-;
