How do i color my blocks?

I found the texture & what not tool, but i still can't see how i get to paint my ship in normal colors?

The color tool is separate from the texture tool.

with the texture or paint tool if you right click you get a menu of options.

Color tool looks just like the texture/symbol tool only it's black instead if green.

If playing in survival you must unlock the tech before you can make one.
