Bombs

Surely we should be allowed bombs so that we can destroy the POI's and drone bases, etc, from above?

next patch has an explosive device - like a satchel charge. you might find that interesting.

Meanwhile, the dropping of "dumb" bombs (unpowered balistic trajectory bombs) is more from the WWII thru Vietnam era. Modern bombs even unpowered ones use laser guidence and in flight attitude controlling fins to hit a target.

Futuristic weapons are more the missles we have now, but could be usefull to add improvements like heat seeking, or target locking. Of course, the inevitable counter measures would have to be added like flares and chaff.

since our weapons are so futuristic, simple bombs should be simple along with landmines. they should be childs play.

Why do you want to use bombs from above if you can use rockets from above?

Bombs would be unreal here because all weapons in empyrion should have a range. It would be stupid if bombs would disappear when they drop below for example 900m. Another problem is space. Do you want that those bombs will float in space?

We should be able to craft our own bombs and eather ad a timer or a detonate on contact. and yes I would love a ton of bombs just floating in space ready to explode into a chain reaction XD lol also I want to strap a bomb to my vihicles in this game and drive them into my friends.

I would love to see bombs, grenades, C4 on a timer and most of all, cruise missiles !
They dont have to do huge damage, but man they could be fun to use.

Asked a couple of times, ya never know.

But they sure would be alot of fun to play around with.

My opinion is its a real lack of imagination if you cant think of things to do with them, and floating bombs are literally a mine field, so bring em on !

I wish they just had a cannon for the HV and not just the Artilery, I just wanted to make a tank but I needed a smaller cannon. lol the Artiler basically is a cannon too XD I also think we should be abble to have stealth vihicles maybe by adding steal blocks that you have to cover the outside of your SMALL vihicle in. that would be cool, and maby vihicle names dont just pop up but you have to have something on your ship to detect it like radar, thermal, motion sensors. I'm just salty cause I gave my tank camo but the enemy will just see the name. DX they also need grenade launchers to put on Heaver Crafts like in real life with the Americans Grenade machingun.
