God Mode...

As the owner of a hosted server, I do have access to the admin commands. Normally I like just being another player, and working for my in game living. And then there are the occasional events that an in game rescue won't fix... Shazam! I'm in God mode. Ok - In God Mode:

-all players, ships bases should apear on the map.
-I should have access to all ships, bases without having to change faction to me, athen back.
-I should be able to look at a player and get the steam ID, or better BAN with 1 click.

After having a server for 4 months, we recently removed tha password, but hackers are almost more common than the honest player.

-who carries 26K of large fuel packs in 1 stack?
-who has 999 clone chambers?
-who has 14K emergency rations?
-who can make lvl 20 in less than an hour, No kills and no mining?

Hackers we already banned, thats who. The things I need are just to keep people honest.

Ya know, I really wish I could argue this, or counter this, but sadly I cant. Even I am guilty of an accasional cheat, albiet minor cheats, but cheats nonetheless. I play on a private server with some friends, and we all have access to admin abilities. Some of them abuse this and hit "end game" within 48 hours.

I myself enjoy playing the game the way its ment to be played....but even then... I have been known to make a ship from workshop and cheat the build timer (my play time is very limited). The other little cheat I have done is if I am going against a POI and die...repeatedly...I will go into god-mode just to relaim the items I had on my body.

That being said, even the most honest person can be tempted to cheat if the tools are there for them to do so. To quote a saying..."Locks are only usefull to keep an honest man honest."
