Titan Crash (wreck)

Hi all,

I decided to play on RE planet Tallodar.
The game has no set starter missions on planet.
I have found the wrecked Titan and the one on the moon.
The one on Tallodar - does anyone know if you can find the cores to salvage the ship?
If so, I am totally sucking at finding any core on any of the 3 parts...

Or - are the Titan core "spawned" as part of the basic story?

Usually the mission Wrecks/bases have Admin Cores so probably not.

Yep I see the admin computer terminals but nothing pops up when I connect to them. Oddly my multitool can harvest ship parts its seems. So maybe on this "advanced" start you are free to salvage?

If you can salvage the wreck then there isn't an admin core So you might be able to add a core that's if you want to get the blocks instead of some of the resources. Just use a multi-tool to get the blocks as the survival tool can only salvage.

Also when I try to retrieve block - it just gather the components not the block (such as a thruster)...so I am not sure what to make of this

Yep - so now to do a core can I plop one down anyplace of have to be in a specific place? Many thanks for helping a noob

Add a core to the Wreck as you can't retrieve blocks unless you own the structure/vehicle

place the core anywhere on the structure. also remove the core last as you will only get partial resources back from it.

Bang on! Worked like a charm - core in, access to the cargo containers etc and was able to retrieve blocks not just salvage...super nice!

Also incase you didn't read my edit 2 of my posts back the core can't be retrieved as you can only salvage it.

Ok rgr that. Gonna be busy day. Hindsight I prob should have played more on the real starter story line missions before the "play your way start".

Boog, you are way better off blowing off the story line. You'll have more fun just going for it. You're getting good advice, I'd say stay the course.
