Placeable abbreviation for device blocks in constructor.

When I left the game a year ago it was just Base,Hv,sv,or cv

Wanting to make sure I am making the right storage controller for my SV I find this has all changed and I see ss,gv (what ever the xxxx that even stands for and or any of the other new abbreviations I see here

I searched google, the wiki, and can't find a dam thing, Pff I don't even know what to search for at this point.

Can some one please explain these new ones or give a link to something that does.

Bases are BA. Capital vessels are CV. Small vessels are SV. Hover vessels are HV. There are no other current acronyms.

Are you trolling through the ECF files? That is the only way that you could see "SS" or "GV" in particular, UNLESS you have modded some of the objects to change where they can be built; that seems to force display of the internal abbreviations. in which case... if you were modding those objects in the first place then you should know what those identifiers are and that they differ from what is presented in the game. If you were hellbent to synchronize them, you'd likely have to go to the Localization files and add or change some entries there.

Internal names are Base, MS, SS and GV.
There's something broken in the game that's showing unlocalized names for some people in some places.
They originally stood for: MS = Mother Ship; SS = Small Ship and GV = Ground Vessel.

I also have these abbreviations in my constructor lists. New single player game, no mods, standard start. Vermillion - your list makes sense, thanks.

MS, SS, and GV also show up on the device info descriptions for devices in your inventory.
