Crashing Psysics?
Hello, I literally just purchased this game. From what I can tell it is the game of my dreams. Building a ship and flying through space? Oh yeah. Anyways, I was wondering if there was physics for crashing? Like, if I ram my ship into the ground at top speed will the ship and ground be damaged. :steamhappy:

I think u will take damage.. now.. i'm kind of new.. and never tried it.. :) hard in this game, everthing you build is precious.. u dont want it to get damaged, that leads to rage :) Followed by shots of Titos.. :)

I see. Keep in mind that I'm in creative. Does that make a difference? Will that make the ship invincible?

In playfields labeled "PvE" no damage will happen to you or other ships on impact. In playfields labeled "PvP" your ship will take some damage on impact, but the ground will not. You can see what your current playfield is set to by looking at the Map screen (default "M").

In creative none of that matters -- you and your ship are effectively in god mode.

That is awesome to know futontorpedo! Thank you! This entire game looks amazing and that's something that I really wanted. I'm glad the ships don't just bounce around with no damage. :steamhappy:

Proper crash physics are yet to be fully adressed at the moment you will get a bit of a bounce and damage to ship not ground. Mass has not been properly rectified yet.

Ehh. Still. This, to me atleast, still trumps SE overall. I really like the survival aspect
