Since I have seen retractable ramps used in place of shutters as doors for sloped areas, it might also be handy to have an automatic option for the ramps.

To handle sloped blocks they would need to add something I really want: shuttered windows! Armored windows with built-in shutters that close when the windows are taking damage. That way you don't have to take up 2 blocks shuttering windows and they would function as the combat armor version of armored windows. Maybe built-in shutters for non-armored windows too.
Having said that, perhaps the more people ask for it, the higher a priority it might become.
