Help please Steam Authentication Failed :Solved

On starting the game I get a message box saying:-

Steam Authentication Failed. Please Start Steam Client.

I have verified the game files

I have made sure the Steam client is up to date (and running)

I have deleted local content and re-installed Empyrion

All other games in my collection work

My network and internet connections are good

The game was running fine yesterday. Anyone have any ideas?

Ok I fixed it I just needed to log out of Steam and then log back in.

I leave this here in case other people have this problem

If anyone else has the same problem i've found that if you exclude the game files from being automatically scanned in windows defender or any other antivirus program it worked for me.
