No power coil from dismantling POIs?

I just raided Epsilon Outpost 1 and took the extra effort to drill under it, so that i could attack it without destroying the turrets. Then i destroyed the core and dismantled the turrets. But even the ion cannons and plasma cannon did not give me power coils.
Is that intended?

I don't think anything you'll find on Akua will give you power coils when dismantled. You'd need to head to space and kill space drones.

Or maybe I'm wrong. Try the Titan wreck, things like engines.

Edit: No, was mixing them up with Flux Coils. Still might have to go to space as to get power coils you need to dismantle something made from them. The Thermica Station in space has an Advanced Constructor or two I believe.

Player built Plasma turrets do use a power coil... (you can use the tech tree to see compenents from anywhere).

Player plasma turrets need them. Since the alien turrets aren't craftable, they have no recipe and give no parts.
