Empyrion - Galactic Survival

Attaching a SV to CV anything special needed?
OK so when I park my SV on the CV and leave the planet do I need to lock the SV in some way? I know in SE you had to lock the landing gear or poof off into space the other ship would go.

Thanks

Docking pads and Landing Gear/Struts. Maintain a solid connection, you'll hear a thunk and your HUD will notify if the vessel is docked.

Yes. Install a docking pad on your SV. Make sure when you land on your CV that your HUD displays - docked: on, or that the docking sound plays.

Or

You meant to say "or", you don't need both docking pads and landing gear/struts

Match the faction of the SV and CV.

There are some landing gear you can make for an SV that will dock it to the CV as you slowly descend. You hear a sound and the lower right HUD shows docked. I didn't want the pad because with gear I can land the SV on planets easily. I tried the pad first and when landing on uneven terrain, it would slowly slide. I can't remember what the gears are called but they let you land on planets or dock to a CV. Theyr'e short and have a sort of Cyan'ish glow around their edges.
