Is it always a storm or total clouds once you place a solar energy panel .. what I mean is it hard coded to screw the player once placed. I only ask because that's all that happens in my game once I place one! Where r the blue skies, or at least only a cloudy day :))

No kidding, as soon as I put on a solar .. storms .. tis ok and all .. just wondering .. oh, and it's relentless :))

So .. my only guess is that it's hardcoded .. WHY .. either way .. having a blast and keep on gaming .. It would be way more better if the rains and wind would stop for a little while .. not totally stop, because it's great, just not "hard coded" to one aspect :))

I haven't really noticed this. My current SP game on the temperate planet gets "clear" weather all the time with random storms and radiated fog etc. Not sure how the weather RNG works.

Open the console
Type "Help weather"
to give a list of stuff you can do with the weather.
You can type "weather Clear" to change it to clear. etc

I know .. right .. go get a beer or water .. or soda .. and the day is gone .. wait for darkness to pass .. and it seems to take forever .. but daytime is gone when you need it (like mining or exploring) lol

Build near equator for maximum solar power.

Other than that youre just getting unlucky with weather. I've seen bad weather last quite a while.

Also you can build a base in space and weather won't affect it, but of course you'll need to get to space.

Aye, it seemed to happen as soon as I place my solars .. coincendence (can't spell) or "hard coded" Of note .. when I re-booted the weather seemed to calm :))

I think that sometimes the weather does get "Stuck". To reset it there is a console command to change the weather.

Aye, totally agree .. re-booting seems to work .. I guess sooner or later I may mess with the files, till then .. game on :))

Go to arid planet or build in space if weather isn't to your liking.

Aye, I love a good storm , always have .. my ? is .. is it because I placed a solar .. then .. all of a sudden it became non-stop (Why when I placed the solar) .. is it "HARDCODED" or "Random" that at the very moment I place my solar that the "storms began" .. "Let it rain" :))
