well this one doesnt extend :/
They auto deploy.
Burnalot is right on the money also, theres one pad that doesnt extend, mouse over it in menu to see which ones extend and which dont.
Tip.
Best way to ensure everything always lines up in space, before spawning that base, hit the auto level button, now base will spawn dead level to plane in space, now when ever you want to dock a ship to that station simply hit the auto level button and now you have ship and station dead level, docking NEVER fails under these conditions.
Even if they were able to be toggled with a keybind or switch it wouldn't change things for you.
Landing gear have the same hitbox when they are retracted or extended. Meaning even if retracted they still get in the way as if they were extended.
Devs have so far made zero mention of ever changing this either.
It's 2023 still waiting on a hotkey to retract and extend landing gear...
Did you actually have any comment on my post at all, or did you quote me for no reason?
