Delete ship in creative?

So I loaded up creative to test some designs and check out other premade ships. Problem is my creative are is now cluttered with ships that I no longer want laying about. Is there an easy way to just delete the who ship?

open console with ~
type di
Point at the ship you want to delete and check the ID number (will be near the ship's name in the upper right debug info window)
in console type destroy <id number>

use ` key to open console if default keybindings are set.

type di and hit enter. a small window will pop up in the corner. point at ship you wish to delete and a
id number should show up in the little window. I think it will say something like item id 1234

next type in console
destroy 1234 and hit enter. if dun right the item will dissapear.

Or without di, the vessel or structure's ID is in the bottom left corner of the Statistics tab.

The ID number is also available via the ships statistics tab. It will be bottom left. ID xxxx Creator ??????. If you don't want to deal with the di command. That's the same number the di command will give you.
Then do the console destroy command as stated in above posts.

Ah thanks all.

No more clutter and half destroyed ships. I originally trying to use ship mounted multitool to salvage/delete them and had a few piece meal ships laying about. But deleted them all.
