Not exactly, there are actions in the list that will cause positive numbers meaning: you gain rep points. Most of the time this means hunting predators in their territory or killing NPCs or objects that are enemy to the faction.
If you are in urgent need for rep points then do the Faction missions (not the story missions, but those missions next in the list.) Faction missions generally gain you +500 rep points or so asking you to shoot down drones, there are more of them which you unlock after doing the first one and so on. Not to be confused with 'credibility missions' that only restore your Neutral rep if successful.
So that helps. Predator/prey thing in the respective territories. Got it.
But not seeing where if you kill ____ faction you will gain points with ____ faction.
Am I missing that?
This does not seem to exist in multiplayer?
I only have Solo Missions and the Empyriopedia.
In the beginning there were only 3 factions. So it made it easy to see who the hated faction was and how the othes effected neighbors. Now it just takes a bit more time because of the number of factions.

In the individual SP mission text, there are notes that say, basically, "This might run in Multiplayer but it is not designed for that and might cause bugs."
