In single player this is not possible, changing the territory owner to be you, the human, this cannot be done atm, maybe by changing the game files accordingly?
And everything with admin cored POIs: You need to play the related story mission to defeat them.
Devs mentioned maybe allowing players to have a color coded section like NPCs do but that was just a side comment during an interview - nothing official.
I would like it for RP reasons but in practicality not sure what good it would be to "own" something unless there's a simulated economy and we can 'claim' deposits which run out anyway? On top of it all whatever solution is thought up has to work for both single and multiplayer.
So yeah, it would be nice to have but I'm guessing it's probably a lot harder than it sounds to implement.
But not for single player.
No territory for you.
It works but be careful because you can mess-up your entire savegame with these commands.
Cool! that it works. Thanks for the advice it's good to know .I usually do not save save files more than 1, and lately I try to play without saving the game. I thought that in multiplayer you can not save the game, and somehow I get a better gaming experience when I play without saving.
Yea that was English believe it or not !
So, we dont have a built in mechanism to officially turn a planet a different colour on map and register its now owned by said player who defeated said planet.
BUT !!!
If you do destroy or take over every POI on planet, kill all patrol vessels, and take the orbit too, they can not re-invade the planet, so technically its YOURS !
There are though on large planets over 100 spawn points just on the terrain alone where troops can spawn randomly so actually achieving a completely Zirax free planet is a heck of a lot more work than more people realise on a size 5 planet.
Good luck.
