cannot find any protein plant

Hello i restarted playing after 2-3 years, and at the start, i passed litterally 1 hour without finding any protein plant. I found almost 3 wrecks and 4-5 resources deposits. Why? I also reloaded the playload

Check out your built in survival constructor. It can craft plant protein from vegetables.

There are a couple different plants that provide protien, and anything that provides veggies can be made into protien

dont just go by the pic in the tutorial, there are several plants that drop plant protein, all will count toward the mission - i suggest picking Anything and Everything you can to start with , many plants have changed deco and you get skill for them all even if you just trash them later

The "tutorial protein plant" can be found in the immediate vicinity of the capsule. If you haven't found one running growing circles around the capsule for several minutes something is wrong. It doesn't grow in forest, swamp, tundra or mountain biomes, but sometimes can be found on sand.

However, I remember one single game where I had exactly the same problem. I finally gave up that game. It happened never again. Maybe there's a rare bug with terrain generation involved.
