Derelict ship mission dead end?

This mission seems to either be glitched or a dead end...

I'm on the "Find a way inside" step, and got all the way in to the Ilmarinen AI console in container 3, but the quest still won't update. Unfortunately, given how easily quests get glitched, I have no idea if it's me or the game. :( I don't want to mess it up more by manually completing the check if I don't have to. At this point, I've even gone into god mode and can't find anything else on the ship to do.

If I remember you teleport first to this ship then back out and return to it in a vessel. Then there's a hangar on top with two switches/ramps inside where the teleport station is. If you already went in that way, I'm not sure. If anything I think you can check that mission part as complete and move on to talk to the AI.

I teleported from that small station into a large ship/station... then killed all the zombies as well as a battlemech (in the hangar) then down into the bowels of the ship and killed the "Guardians"... after that though... I'm stuck

Here is Spanj's play through on Reforged Eden. He plays on hard but it is the same mechanics/ship no matter what level. Note: He has RE enhanced armor on.

I watched it and he used medium armour but had the enhanced armour if he needed it. He didn't use it.

Cant you click on the objective in PDA? I dont know how they are sorted and didnt use this in a long time but i know you used to be able to click on the objective box and have it completed. Find a way inside i think should be completed after opening the ramp or the blast doors... Except if you entered any other way, but dont think it exists....

Yes, i remember that message being there too long and i wondered about it. Did you reach the point where there is a room what has cannon on the bottom of that floor?

I suggest everyone to take with them like 1000+ bullets or if use the free falling to the bottom next to the cannon strat then 10+ explosives.
Or if you might be lucky enough to get past that cannon without getting hit.

Thx Devs! This mission was great! Even with some of confusions. It was ultra big for me and least about 10+ hours to finish (in few days ofc), but its not problem with autosave system, its cool

This thread is 3 years old and the derelic ship has been modified by the devs, so old videos may not be up-to-date any longer for the solutions. They may still help though.

My tips:
You really need to visit every corner and always pay attention what's written in the consoles or on walls etc.

For some reason they removed that option in late 2023 or sometime in 2024 - even for Single player games. You can get to the PDA and you can click on the box but nothing happens.

I'm still in awe that the devs would remove this option considering the buggy track record for Empyrion quest. Not being able to continue a base storyline quest or mission and having no recourse other than to load an earlier save and hope for the best is so bad for game design it's not even funny.

Yeh, maybe its some of grandma players. Moderators should not close actual discussions. This disc just was continue old topic what some of players dont see before because maybe have bad searching skill. So its dumb asking to close actual disc. Just check his review about this game with 2k hours played. He hate this game)
