CPU Extenders not working properly

I am building a vessel, and need to extend my CPU limit, however experimenting with different CPU Extender limits, the vessel reports wrong values of current CPU capacity. For instance, after I tried fitting it with 4 T4 CPU extenders and then removed them all, the stats still says it has 100.000 CPU. Surely this cannot be intended?

From my experience, you need to stack the CPU extenders by size. 1 core, 1 T2 extender, 2 T3 extenders, and 3 T4 extenders to get full capability.

That sounds like the game just slow to update. I have experienced that myself. Remember in default you can only have one set of extenders that actually do anything. Also have to have the full number of them, Reforged is easier never thought I would say that.
Close the window down give it a moment should update. That does not work relog, that fails verify files as you are not experiencing normal behavior. Keeping in mind your PC could be partially at fault depending on specs, may require patience for updating new info.

I thought so too but no you can remove the lower tier as they are not recognized in default game. Also they need not be touching the core at all, again I thought that too later experimented found I was wrong. Creative is the best place to learn but also the WS ships show you that too.

OKay, the 2 minute delay seems to be the cause. But do I need to stack them, like core+t2+x2 T3 and so on?

There is no stackinng of tiers.
YOu have
1: CPU
2: Cpu +1 T2
3: CPU + 2 T3
4: Cpu + 4 T4
5: Advanced core

No, if you are using T4 then all you need is 4 of the T4 extenders on the ship/base somewhere. There is no restriction on where.
