I unlocked the laser drill but.... Its not in any of my crafting stations?

You need at least the large constructor. It dosn't appear in the small one.

In your tech tree look at the small colored dots in each tech. They tell which constructors can be used to build it. The explanation which color is which is at the bottom of the page.

We are talking about the hand held laser Drill?

I have it available in the Large Constructor.

You can see from the screenie here, Cyan and Red - Large Constructor and Advanced Constructor, as shown in the key along the bottom.

Therefore, unless you are using a scenario that has changed things, it will be available in among the weapons and tools tab of the Large Constructor.

There are now 3 constructors you can use in a base. A Small Constructor that takes a 2x2 area and looks like a sphere held in place top and bottom by two restraints. A Large Constructor that takes a 3x3 area and the Advanced Constructor which is also 3x3.

If you're playing reforged eden you need the advanced constructor for the laser drill. It's different from the regular vanilla drill since you first get the manual handheld drill in reforged then later the laser.

If you are playing RE and you post questions on the Forums you need to tell people you are playing RE. There is a huge number of differences. And the Laser Drill in RE is total garbage. It is 4x better than the Survival Tool, but that is not saying much. My biggest complaint about RE is the stupid drills and why they felt they needed nerfed so bad. Yes, let's take the one aspect of the game that is grindy and boring and make it worse.

Drilling by hand is supposed to be slow, so that vehicles with mounted drills have a use

I hate mining with the vehicles. Even the SV is not that good.

The SV is a lot better. I love mining with it in reforged using the laser drills.

Nothing in the game is really good....... Im not sure if its just built on bad code or what. But the flight mechanics are really weak, animations are terrible, Enemy AI is bad, No wheels. etc. And the universe feels.... Dead.

I know it's made by a small team but so was valheim and no mans sky.

Go buy one. They aren't expensive.
