Maybe we will see a complete tech tree rework with the introduction of new tech lines for alloy and plat, and maybe even some others.
It could sure use a new way to level up so to speak, just unlocking points in a tech tree doesnt feel very immersive.
Something more like how subnautica handle finding new tech and what not would suit this game so perfect, scan it for its tech.
Scan item, your ipad updates with a new blueprint, pretty simple and very immersive stuff.
Its just a feature like many others , easily changed, a lot of work to do it, but its not a hard thing, its just swapping out some files for new ones basically, and thats because the core backbone of the game is done and set in stone.
But there has been chat about upgrading the tech tree for some time, not sure on the progress of that proposal.
That would be awesome.
A couple of higher tiers for everything would get us a little more end game.
