Portable Water Condensor/O2 Generator - Does It Make Water

First time player - so researched the use of the Portable Water Condensor/O2 Generator that is fabricated by your Survival Constructor, added biofuel and out comes an O2 bottle. I assume that it does not make water - please correct if wrong.

Also, building my base on a hill overlooking a river that is fairly far away. Is there any way to make water other than the water generator or how do I place a water generator that is far away?

Water generators go in water. It doesn't have to be anywhere near your base. You put fuel in them to power them. Any type of fuel. It's nice to be near your base so you don't have to go far though.

the little O 2 generator makes O2 and water both, one at a time. and it doesnt need to be near water it takes them both out of the air.

In hindsight, I am referring to the water generators that you manufacture and have to place in water with fuel in them. They then generate the big jugs of water. I keep 5 of them running around the clock.

Water gens are noisy so you may want to keep them at some distance. Unless you like the sound. :)

If you catch sleep period right as it turns night, I place several of the and put 2 bio fuel each. Each portable o2/water genny makes, well crap, forgot, but with 2 biofuels they each make approx: a dozen each containers? Sleep, wake up reap the o2/water bottles, move along, nothing else to see here til bedtime;-)

Yeah the little portable ones are quite handy. I set one up very early in all my play through a and just keep feeding it fuel. By the time I am space ready having O2 is never an issue.

The big water jugs the other one produces is handy when you start in on CV use and need to create the big blue O2 containers.

Check and check. I like the ocean stater planet now lol. And only recently started deep ocen scavenging. Only surface rocks but loads of them. Only no Erestrium and Zascosium (to date). But Neodymium, Sathium, Pentaxid, Promethium, Cobalt, Gold, of course the 3 basic ore rocks. Someone mentioned a long time ago submersible vessels. Who knows what Eleon will do ;-)

I really hope they will. Actually I think the only thing missing is proper oxygen/water processing inside underwater structures. Cause as of now, each time I submerge on my SV that is capable of surviving space vacuum and cold and fire and whatnot, and it is immediately filled with water like an old jar full of holes, it feels just so unnatural...
