Question
what does a plant fiber look like? I cant find any.

choop a tree, use the wood to craft fiber. there are also plants of fiber all over the world looking like "grass"

Mostly, the spiky grass is your source of fiber until you can get a chainsaw to cut down trees and a constructor to grind them into plant fibers in bulk.

hint :

you're able to choop trees with the starting survival tool using the defence mode.

craft a shotgun and shoot the trees much faster
