Empyrion has been one of my favourite games for quite some time, still is.
I think i joined in 2015 but didn't start playing properly until 2018ish.

They 'released' a game in Alpha directly to 1.0 without a beta. Regardless of enjoyability or fun or money's worth gotten from it, it was not ready for full release.

I agree its a top game but they need to now prove the haters wrong and fulfil the promises they made that EA bubble has now gone its in the big open world , A lot of people have been fighting the battle to defend this please don't let them down.

But yea congrats great game.

Dont let the small portion of the community thats formed worry you. Theres like over 17,000 reviews, the game is growing and will bounce back IMO.

They did the same thing when weights, volume and mass was released. Much wringing of hands. Much yelling at devs. Sky is falling. They review bombed the game also too.

And the community prevailed anyways. The majority liked the feature, and the devs politely gave the option to turn it off for those that wanted.

And the reviews went back up over time.

Remember this, Eleon has many years of working on this game and has earned the trust of the community. Its why we are still here, years later, still enjoying the game and the very nice community that has grown around the game

Eleon is so good, they are causing confusion on the line between indie and triple A.

I have full confidence they will do as they say, and keep working on game. I also believe the game will never be perfect, and have set my expectations accordingly.

Just opened the forum with the thought of starting some sort of "Thank you to the devs" topic, and saw this one.

This is really an awesome game, a whole universe to live in, with lots of different gameplay mechanics, unlimited capabilities to create and tons of areas to explore. So, as TS said - Eleon, you're doing a fantastic job! Thank you, and please keep up what you're doing. I'm sorry to see tons of negative feedback with 1.0 out, but I hope that it will be fine in the end.

One possible reason is that people happy with the game are busy playing instead of complaining.
