Water World

I saw an old YT video where the player had a world composed mostly of water. Is there a seed out there to generate such a world?

An ocean start is not one of the standard starter planets so I don't think you'll get one with any seed. You can search for them in other solar systems although they seem to be rare. The person in the video may have done that, or some scenarios include ocean planet starts (Project Eden for example). You can also edit game files to include an ocean start but I've never done that.

I've definitely seen them, but they are one of the rarer planets as mentioned. Unfortunately there isn't a whole lot of stuff to do underwater, so the idea of a 'water world' is not as cool as it sounds. It's nice to visit though.

I think you can use an ocean starter on Project Eden or Reforged Eden. Would be pretty hard unless you get a HV/SV pretty quickly.

There are pure water planets in project eden (except the poles).

I like the PE (Reforged) sp, ocean/hard start. Occutune? Always Lots of water, lots of islands. The islands almost always have surface rocks out from any beach just a jump, cobalt, and the big three. Sandy islands in that start have a few Magnesium rocks on them too. Reforged tweeked some stuff. I have started this start the last 5-6 games. Last month or two. I`m alive again lol. WTG on Reforged folks!!! You know who you are;-)
