Meteorites in single player.
Ok Devs. Why do those that dislike being on multi player servers. Because of all the gankers in online games. Have NO meteorites to replenish resources in single player ? You can't get any rare ores unless you mine an asteroid belt and even those run out. So please put meteorites in single player. On the planet the only things that don't re-spawn are the mineral deposits. I have deforested entire areas. Next day or two, it's all back.

I think, they fall after you deplete the planet ore veins? get a SV, and hop out to the moon and mine away. I never play a game that is MP-coop, ever. SP only for me. And I`m 70;-) I lijke starting new games. I`ve mined a bit on a couple different moons. I`ve never had an ore resource problem. CV wrecks resource into all kinds of resources, especially the thrusters and such.

Yeah, I'm 64 this year. I tire of all the ganking that happens in any mmo.

Meteorites are in single player. Not sure why you aren't seeing them, unless you have some veins hidden somewhere that you have you haven't cleaned out yet.

And trees are not supposed to re-spawn...

Trees do not respawn unless due to a bug.

Single player has depletion meteors. Once you mine out 80% of an ore on a planet, meteorites will begin falling.

hmm, so every replay of this game is bugged - interesting

Use autominers if you wanna refuse to go to other planets for those ores. In your game difficulty you can set autominers to NOT deplete resources.

The base game design is for the player to go to at least 2 other planets for the full spectrum of ore required for building stuff.

It seems like for some people it is. I've never noticed trees respawn but others see it every game.
There was also a bug where trees respawn near the playfield barrier but that was fixed.

If you are seeing trees respawn please do fill out a bug report on it and provide your game save for it to be looked at.

Trees aren't supposed to respawn and this bug keeps popping back up. Any saves provided will help the devs to fix it.
In most cases these trees that respawn can't even be chopped down.

Respawn of materials is what kills this game for me, and what magic exists that makes metors hit a planet when it depletes? why not just always have meteors? Do the metors have intellegence an go "Oh this guy is runnin low lets hurl myself over here now "

It's necessary otherwise players can run out of resources.
They can be turned off in custom scenarios if you want.

I agree. Is there some almighty being that says "Let there be meteors to refill thy cup of materials !". But only those materials the planet originally had I bet.

I've NEVER had a problem harvesting those trees after they re-spawn.

Yes, you do not get meteor resources that did not originally appear. You can look at the map and it will tell you what you get.
