Is there a way to automatically move cargo between containers?

Hey all,

New player here, just starting to play around with the stuff in the game. I'm wondering if there's a way to have say.. a main cargo container where I dump/craft a load of stuff and then have it be sorted into various inventories throughout a base/ship?

I see there are container controllers, and I have seen a few things about logistics but I can't find any definite information on it with lots of googling.

It's manual, mostly.

But you can improve the manual process. When you have a container open, you can select another container (instead of your inventory) to be moving things to or from. (There's stuff at the top of the screen which lets you control that.)

This can also help when unloading cargo or supplying a vehicle with ammo, or whatever.

@ Which. Nicely put. I only recently discovered when I open my HV/HB constructor that I added to dam HB, I can craft from storage, or chasnge to fridge and craft in that, change one for another at the top of that container choice. Quite by accident lol. A game this huge most always has little surprises for the ones who perservere on their own. I still say EGS forums rock. Best forums I have been involved with.
