My game is stuck on Loading Main Menu

I Launch game
It Loads for a few seconds
All main menu selections are very very faintly showing
But I can 't click on anything but the "Exit" button
The loading part is constantly showing top left

I tried restarting game, computer and Checked integrity
I have no mods

Pinned to the top of the Bugs forum is a thread called "READ INTRODUCTION BEFORE REPORTING ANY BUG" that has suggestions. Maybe there's something you missed.

None of it works, I'm gonna re install.

Check the bottom of the most recent file in the most recently updated subdirectory of your steamapps\common\Empyrion - Galactic Survival\Logs\ directory.

If it says something like "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" that's your problem and it probably needs a bug report and/or a fresh game start.

I seem to have come across this same issue two years later and it has persisted across multiple re-installs and my bug report to the forum has gone un-noticed, i was wondering if you ever came across a solution to this gamebreaking issue.

What's being described here is a general issue with multiple potential specific causes, none of which have been discussed here. What's more, in your attempt to Search you carelessly left the Relevance sorting enabled instead of changing it to Time, in the process resurrecting a two-year-old thread that describes a version of the game that no longer exists. There have been substantial changes since then, including the addition of Unity Crash Handler, which now intercepts the very worst game exceptions and logs them separately.

I honestly don't know if this will help, but a while back I had this issue. Amrak advised me to re-verify my steam files And talked me thru it. It found a couple of corrupted files and fixed the. I never had problems again.

Maybe verifying the files?
