Yeah I'm aware of that solution, but I don't like it, especially for an automated generated scenario. I think people won't appreciate having to dig out all the pois lol
I'm talking more specifically for planet generated POI's rather than placing via BP
Yea in this guide it discusses flatten terrain etc. this works for the "box" portion of my poi but if i want deco outside of this box, it does not work right because apparently empyrion currently cuts a big box around your whole poi and so it looks terrible if you do anything other than a box, that's why every stock poi has a big box foundation I guess. That really makes my life difficult though and not sure what I'll do to work around it...
Yeah that's what I tried. The issue is that I actually only want terrain removed after a certain depth (so some surface terrain remains) in this box. That's not something empyrion will or can do (as far as I'm aware so far). It cuts a box shape from the surface all the way down to your last block. Thus, if you wanted some terrain covering most or even all the top of your poi, tough luck!
I tested this earlier by submerging it deep. It was deep allright, but it still was open to sky.
