Sweet! Creative Copy and Paste is the CAT'S A$$

I am building a modular space station and the copy, cut, paste in creative is giving me so much flexibility. I am building modules on a test platform and then copy, paste, and move to adjust as I see fit into the finished CV/BA. Super job Devs!!

I only wish I could mirror-paste. Sometimes I want to build something like a thruster arrangement, and then copy it to another spot that might not be on a mirrored axis, but still needs to be oriented to the other side of the vessel.

Right. It would be good if the symmetry tool worked with paste.

I'm new to the creative mode ( and back to the game after a long while), and I'm struggling with the build mode... I'm trying to select some blocks, cut them and paste them so I can move them elsewhere on my ship. But I tried many times and it always disappear when I clear the selection. What am I doing wrong?

Hit 'paste' and the selection should turn blue, <edit>hit paste again, then deselect.

You are missing one more paste before you deselect. I did the same when I started.

Are you hitting paste twice? The first time gives you the preview so you can make sure it's in the correct position.
