Highest gravity planet you've found?
Like the title says, what's the highest gravity planet you've found? For me, the highest was like 3.6g. I know they get higher gravity though.

4.43 was the max I've seen and that was a few Alphas ago.

5.0 plus heavy atmosphere on a lava planet with extreme weather xD

4.x Gees, on a nascent lava planet, which is I suspect the only place you'll find that extremity unless it's a modded planet.

I might have to mod the game a little just to get the really high G planet. I'm wanting to build a a line of ships just for high G.

I was told that there's already a Creative-like scenario that starts off with a high-gee planet. You can't reasonably build ships to handle 4 or 5 Gees without building them *on* such a planet. The ones I've refitted in that fashion now have a HiGee mode that activates extra thrusters and generators. I need to find one in my current game.

I modded a couple planets in the scenario im playing to be 'gas giants' with 20g gravity and 120 atmospheric pressure along with a bunch of rads.

Thats my general idea, shaps with the thrust to get ore moved around on a 5g planet and then once in space I can switch the planetary thrusters off.

My first encounter with one - actually my only one so far - forced me to strap extra thrusters onto my CV with duct tape, as so many others have done. Once I knew I could leave, I settled down there for a time and made the upgrade to it more permanent and then designed a new SV that could handle it as well. Good gawds, I tallied up so much of the rare mosses from all the alien assassins I had to repeatedly kill while tending to autominers!

Cant beat that duct tape dude !

4.24 g on a planet called Oyeron I would have liked to explore, but my jetpack would only get me a couple feet in the air, and dropping back down gave me a blood-spattered visor. I kept getting sucked down into the canyon, and the only way back to my SV was to drill down and "ledge" my way back. I was starting to think "I'm hosed" when I had the idea to remove 4 thrusters from other axis and place them underneath. I still want to go back and explore, but maybe I better get back to the CV first, and build a few more thrusters? heh

Early game faction co op buddy got struck on a 4G+ planet. Had him install Teleporter into the CV, I teleported over, and dropped out with him on the planet. Erected a micro teleporter base to teleport us both back into the CV haha.

I'd like to have access to a 5G planet with most extreme gravity/atmosphere that a craft might encounter for blueprint testing.

Would be nice if there was a scenario that maybe had a couple moons setup for this. Anyone got one?

Take out a Piraate CV and raid it's pentaxid tank for like 13k refined pentaxid, than warpy warpz around lewkin' for a planet that's heavy and harsh enough to your liking.

You'd just need to warp to the system's star/sun, and then you could check the planet info from the system map screen without having to warp to the planets. So you could save the pentaxid this way by just star hopping and browsing the system's planetary offerings.

I s'pose I could.

or...

I imagine the scenario editor would be a quicker route. ...and some nice person might already have such a thing in a workshop scenario I could use for testing.

The group I'm playing with has found a naturally occurring 8.5g planet... we turned right around and said nope.
