Signal logic for a group
Hi,

I have a lot of lights in my group "outdoorlights" und want to switch them on and off.
The only possibility I know is to add signal logic to each light, so my question is:
Is it possile to add signal's to a group?

THX ..

Afaik you cannot add signal logic to a group. Signal logic needs to be added to each device in any group or anything ungrouped individually.

What you can do for groups though to switch anything on & off that is in a group by only using the control panel is create a switch in the Main tab of the control panel in the Custom column which is 1 to the right of the General column.

Name a switch under 'Custom' & then go to the group in the device list & click on the group to highlight it then a drop down option will be available.
Click on the drop down & select the Custom switch you just named & go back to the main tab of the control panel & now use the switch you just created.

This works for myself. Hope it helps.

Denn nichts klappt.

If you don't require having a 'physical' switch to hit, you really don't even need a switch. Just assign all the lights in question to one of the custom groups. Then you can use the control panel to turn that group on or off and the lights will follow.

I also have this problem, why can't I assign a group of lights to a switch? If it's OK to use a custom group from the control panel, it should be easy to assign a physical switch.
Currently there's no way to do this, I want to walk into a room and flick a wall switch to turn on the lights, some rooms are big and have many lights, the other day I had to assign 100 lights one-by-one.

Yes, it can be a pain to initially set up.
