Which requires a small constructor and either loads of panels, and patience, or a generator.
Because most things need a bit of cobalt, you have to trade for it in the beginning.
- So I build a small constructor in my base, and loads of big solar panels. I buffed the solar panels so that I can build dozens more than usual on one base and get away with no need for a generator. I build my base out underground, in case it gets "flattened".
- Then once I get cobalt, it's time for a fast explorer HV and then explore the whole planet and salvage anything I can find, then I build large constructor and prepare the base for incoming drone waves.
- I changed the drone loot drops to drop more stuff, that way I can afford to build a nice SV after enough drone waves.
- Visit the moon and the orbital trader to get more cobalt and more magnesium at this point.
- Start assaulting bases directly - get enough together to build the Advanced constructor and a smelter.
- At this point building a really cool CV is pretty easy, and it starts moving a lot faster.
I play with slow progression and high drone and high enemy difficulty, I am quite ♥♥♥♥♥ at this game too, and I often die raiding bases. I love peace , when bullets fly I am often too slow to get out of the way.
