Can't steer the bike

Hi
I used to turn the bike with my mouse. But now I can can only use A & D, and is really slow turns.
Please help. What setting am I missing?

You can only steer with A and D. My advice to make things a little easier is to press ALT to activate free look.

I'm 99.999999999% sure the bike was never able to be steered with the mouse. It was always the keyboard as long as I've played the game.

I hate the bike and never use it. You can make a basic HV within 15 minutes of starting the game which is much more useful, and steerable with a mouse. As the above post Im also pretty sure there has never been a mouse steerable bike.

I've played since alpha 6 and the bike has never had mouse steering. It's always been keyboard turning, and you could unlock the camera with alt.

If you must use the bike, control your speed. Don't max throttle unless in a straight line on flat ground for a long stretch. Stay between 25 to 50 throttle otherwise, it helps.

I threw the bike in a lake by accident, swam to shore and decided to not use the bike again.

I've designed both a scout sv and hv for the soul purpose of never having to use the bike. :)

I have never known this game to steer with a mouse on the bike, are you sure you aren't thinking of 7 Days?

I don't like the bike much but I never abandon it.

If you're a long way from your base and the craft you're using becomes damaged to the point that it no longer functions it's a long, tedious and dangerous walk back

That's why I always put one in a cargo box on every vessel I build and typically keep one in my inventory too. They may suck but are better than walking....
