Obviously if I don't know whether or not it can be done I wouldn't know how to do it. But programming a "Console Shortcut" hotkey is probably your best bet.
In your control panel click on the group your forward HVs are in (you grouped them together, right?) and set it to Shortcut 1.
On the Main Control Panel screen you now have a toggle called Shortcut 1 that turns on and off your forward HV engines. You can rename it to Forward HV Engines or something.
Its not a 'hotkey', exactly, but its faster than clicking off each engine individually.
Other solution is to use levers, but you need to designate the signal for each device. I like to use levers because i'm always hiting auto sort by mistake.
The only hardcoded one I know of is L which will toggle spotlights, I think, if you're in the pilot seat when you hit it.
The game is lacking a bit with hotkeys at the moment, especially hotkeys to switch to turret control. No way to create fire groups with weapons either; it's fire all of one type of weapon at the same time or nothing.
This.
Assign the devices to a Group in the Main Control
anel, use Ctrl+Shift+1 (to 8) to toggle them on and off.
