Pink View?

This is from the cockpit of an HV.

Form the outside it looks like this:

I exited the game and came back, and its still there. There is significant damage to the cockpit, but Ive had that before without the pink.

I am planning to replace the cockpit, so I can see if that will help.

I do want to say, that I own over 100 Steam games and Empyrion is one of the most bug-free of the bunch. (Bethesda, cough, cough).

That is new to my eyes, I think. I've seen my share of graphic weirdness, though, even recently.

I’m guessing the game is trying to reference a missing texture. Stuff like that occurs in games(though usually in black and pink tiling and not just bright pink) when an object requests for a texture that either no longer exists or alternatively is incorrectly referencing the texture, either way, that doesn’t look very healthy...

If it is a missing texture, try verifying the game files.

That to me looks like a video card error.

Usually driver related.

Or like above poster suggested, a missing texture file so video card doesnt have right texture for glass there.
It looks like its missing stage 1 or 2 of the damage textures for glass.
Do as suggested and verify all files.
Dont just restart the game, restart the whole PC, get all the installed drivers in order.

I had an incident last night with glass blocks on an HV that fully disappeared from one viewing angle but not another. On;y some of the glass blocks present were affected, not all, and there seemed to be no geometric pattern to it. They were still there as evidenced by my inability to walk through the space they "didn't" occupy and the multitool claiming they were still there. They were not damaged. A restart of the game session restored them to normal.

Is that in any way related?

Have (Had?) the same problem more than once. When during a fight the armored cockpit gets damaged. Replaced it with the same type of cockpit. Not seen it happen yet again??
