Spawning Items

Is their a way to spawn items into a MP survival game? New game and I just lost tons of items because drones spawned on top of my location and they blew up my motorbike before I could get away. Lost hundreds of ore and a laser rifle I'd found on a wreck.

You'll need admin rights.

Open the console and type "itemmenu" (without the quotes) or "im". Then close the console and you'll be able to access the item menu with the H key to give yourself your stuff back.

Is their any way to despawn the drones? I've got 4 on top of the rez location and no base spawner.

You could give yourself a debug assault rifle (search item menu for debug) and blow them up. You can also use "godmode" to enable god mode (toggle it on or off with the G key) or "ai off" to disable the AI and then "ai on" to re-enable the AI.

Why not just go about legit and find another wreck and get more ores and weapons?
I understand it sucks to lose it, but it's not hard to find ores and weapons in this game.

Thanks, the spawning of the items worked.

I could have rebuilt from start but this is the 5th game we've restarted in the last week due to server issues from the last update that broke our games and continuously crashes our server. We only got the game running again by installing it on a new server. I'm not trying to spawn in items I didn't earn, just trying to save several hours of lost loot. Ya its my fault for circumnavigating the globe on foot so I had a ton of ore and other items in my inventory, but I was returning to base when the drones spawned on top of me and the first time the drones had appeared in the game. I wouldn't have minded as much if I had had any warning that the 4 drones were going to appear but as it was I had only a shotgun, no armor, and basically no chance of survival or re-acquiring the dropped loot.

Also we weren't aware we could even manually save the game.

I feel guilty because I spawned in a T2 shotgun accidentally. I'll just put it in storage until I acquire the tech and materials.
