Need some help with motion sensor
This is the first time ive ever tried to setup a motion sensor. I created my first SV last night and have a ramp and manual door on the back. I wanted to setup a sensor to automatically open both of them while im inside the sensor range and close when im outside of the sensor range. I followed this tutorial on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j28apveXiU8&t=5s to try and figure it out. I followed the steps but it refuses to work for me. I would be fine if I still had to manually open the "Manual" door but I cant even get the ramp to work correctly.

The only thing I have to go off of is the pop up in the first screenshot. It says "Signal loop detected with Ramp - not sent again! Other signals involved:"
After it sends that it turns off the motion sensor. It also isnt even correctly operating the ramp as you can see in the screenshot, I want it to open when approached, but instead it closes. The most frustrating part is the fact that it turns off the sensor each time, so I have to turn it back on every single time I try a new setup.

Any help would be appreciated!

set each item up one at a time and test it - keep in mind you may need to 'toggle' the switch once to get both items on the same cycle

on most ramps i have to "invert" them to get it too work with lights and doors - there is a checkbox on the Signals page when you set an item to a motion sensor or switch, its to the right where you select the name of the signal

Thank you so much! The video I followed said to set the sensor on itself. Taking it off made both ramp and door work correctly. Also didnt know that the I was for invert either, so telling me that saved me trouble of figuring out how to invert it haha. Much appreciated!

yes ramps must be inverted, since they are open when placed :) - I was also wondering for weeks what that I checkbox meants, until i saw it in some random video ...

Is this what you have to do for automated hangar doors? My base hangar doors are not automated and I want to make them open and close automatically.

Yes Demon, but do not invert the hangar doors. Just follow. They are closed when you place the block. Ramps and shutter doors, on the other hand, are open when you place the block.
