I only added this because when I tried my first jump I had no clue and totally missed any mention of "K" when looking at keybinds etc.
SP you can open console and type sector reveal
hit enter.
This should show all planets on galaxy map to warp to, you might find you have missed one somewhere that links you to it.
Any planet you have not been to, means there could be warp lanes undiscovered.
MP, explore more.
I have seen a few servers set up incorrect where the system is fragmented to a point that you cant reach anything, but they are very rare, most of the server operators for Empyrions popular servers are pretty good.
I would be a little shocked if a popular, populated server had this problem now.
There is alot more data / info available now than a couple of years ago about how to run a servers and build scenarios, for the server.
Max warp range is limited only by how much pentaxid you can fit in your tank.
Best advice is to get an Auto-miner down on a pentax deposit in an orbit that stay loaded (I seem to remember that by default, 2 can stay loaded, more can be assigned), and keep it fueled with the largest fuel cells possible. That will give you plenty of pentaxid to explore. Honestly, though, the default SP game maps are pretty small. If you get bored, try your skills on in MP.
No you can't.
or has it changed in A12 and the distances are less?
