What do you do with all your Xeno Substrate?
In every game I always save it, intending to try making a one-off CV with it, but I never do. How do you use it, if at all?

For a hull they are too weak in compare to combat steel.
But because the xeno steel blocks have special textures you can use the blocks to simulate a toxic waste leackage of industrial facilities or similar.

Would be cool to process xeno substrate to fuel for example. :P

It's a trade-off: Xeno Steel is weaker than combat steel but also lighter and still stronger than hardened steel (at least that was once true). There used to be talk about using it in place of combat steel to make CVs almost as durable but also more maneuverable with the same thrusters, or just as maneuverable with smaller thrusters. The trick was that you couldn't blueprint with it. I never got around to actually trying it, but every game I stockpile some just in case the urge arises.

Isn't it radioactive?

I'd definately like to see some actual use for the stuff.I like the idea of turning the substrate into a fuel.

I endlessly fill cargo boxes with it.

I think it should be used for end game material to make strong but light armoring for your ships equivalent to combat steel or stronger. Also have the ability to heal if it gets damaged. It is biological matter.

i throw it off the nearest cliff.

Time for some more modding! I'm going to make it my own private adamantium. :-)

Don't throw them away. Xeno blocks can be added to your factory right there, on the spot, when you find them in the POIs. (1) have something big sent to factory, (2) open crate in POI and see Xeno, (3) link to that crate/box and put Xeno on the hotbar, (4) quicly press F2 to bring up factory, change to linked hotbar and dump the blocks into the factory. Badda bing, badda boom, blocks not wasted.
