Core of com array ?

Actually destroyed the fortifications around the radar station, and now trying to salvage the com array, but the problem is i cannot find the core. Wherever i hit with my laser rifle i get the message that i cannot destroy this..now i used the guns of my SV to shoot through the centre of the array in hope to hit the core, but that did not work.
Any hints what i have to use to be able to remove wall parts and such, to find the core ?

Unless it's been changed recently, the core is in the corner to the left of the entrance, behind the cargo boxes. A couple of explosives in that corner of the interior should destroy it.

Actually tried that out, but the explosives only blow up deco and containers, not wall or floor
Edit: ahh i tried the wrong corner, i tried the corner in the back left..heading back now

Edit2: only wall and floor there, nothing else

Try the very top of the tower, inside the 'cage' containing the fuel tanks and generator.

if you blow up the top cargo box and place 1 charge in that very corner, it will blow up the core

Tried to blow up all corners in the big hall, nothing..used a enhanced grenade launcher on them also.
Just the cage i dont find. i see the generator and 3 fuel tanks, but no cage or space for a core around them

Edit: shot at the bottom left corner seen from the entrance with 4 rocket launchers, after destroying 1-2 cubes the array was without core, thx all
