The game just needs a asteroid radar. :)
If you dont like to hunt for ore-asteroids. use console command 'map' and they show on the map
Not all servers allow the use of the console, or, at the very least, some commands are disabled. The server that I play on has disabled the MAP command and a few others.
This made me think the asteroids spawned, as I have often been on that planet and in its outerspace when I make trips to the moon.
Are the asteroid fields suppose to have a dozen or so mineable roids, or is there just one like a needle in a haystack?
use 'map hide' to undo 'map' command (hide them again)
