select your planet then on the right bottom select Lock, exit map
after that follow margalus's suggestion and aim at the orange marker that is the target
get moving to over 50 m/s and press K
So I tried just flying at them, and that's when I got the error message about needing a warp drive to be able to travel outside my sector. I had a warp drive, fully charged on a CV, and it wasn't listing planets outside that sector to be a warp target.
Further clarification, I was able to warp to the local planets in the sector but not further then that, and I was Definately in a CV
Future reference tho, I'll keep records
