First Titan...What am I missing..??

So,,, I finally go to check out this signal and find part of a crashed ship. The little voice says its a Titan, or part of. This was the rear part, and nothin to do here so I keep going and find the front part, nothin to do here either. Then it says to find the middle part using the scanner I founnd. Well I have no idea how, or what exactly this thing does as this game does not seem to give info on things.

So I just follow the line I was on and found the middle section. Then I am told to look for a locker where this power is comming from. Well I found numerous lockers, 4 of which contained suit boosters but nothing else. The game don't know either cuz top right of screen where it tell you info says smoething about no data in Red writing.

I checked out the datapad info hopeing to get some actual information on what the hell I am supposed to be doing and looking for but just tells me my "reward" for completing this part of the quest which is not helpful, especially since I already have a T2 AR.

So after scouring through the wreckage once more and still finding no more than I already had I decided to go back to base. So it seems I am stuck ,,, again,,, but at least I am on flat ground this time :)

Any assisstance would be appreciated.. Thanks...

the 'locker' you need is at the top of the central tower, when you get close it should have given you a pop up text
then it continues to the next part of the quest being the radar station and the Alternate Route quest
have you been to the top of the elevator yet? you may have to dig to find a way to it

The Titan Sections are early game gold mnes for loot and materials. Find the core in each section and destroy it. Then either place your own to claim or let be to salvage and find the hidden Alien loot containers at your leisure. All sections have Multiple cargo containers as well.

If you have at least a T1 Multi-tool you can salvage some rare ores from the Engines and RCs. Or you can leave it alone till you get a T2 Multi-tool and really get some good salvage. Hardened and combat steel blocks can be retrieved whole or salvaged for Steel plater and hardened plate. All necessary parts for build bigger and better things.

I assumed you are playimg the Protocol mission. The PDA (F1 iirc) will give information on the Protocol missions. Which you seem to be struggling with. Play around with the PDA to figure out how to use it.

Check your PDA if you haven't already (F1) best place to start you can also select another mission then go back and select the protocol it will (after a little while ) show where you are upto in the mission . You don't really find anything your just setting off triggers for the next part of the mission. Hope this helps.

There was no "contral tower" on that part of ship.

I have a multi-tool and tried salvaging but cannot. Game says I cannot salvage it. Yes, I checked the PDA which told me nothing except that my reward is a T2 assault rifle (which I already have) for completing this part of the quest/mission.

Also that is getting annoying.. I always have to "figure out" what to do cuz the game tells me nothing. I see something I can make like and ore scanner or something but there is no info on what it does o how to use it. The game just told me to use a scanner I found in wreckage but how?. The game has no info and tells me nothing. I equip it but nothing happens...

Under the minimap and info about Temp etc it say in RED writing "Task state or data not found"..?

You can Not salvage till you Destroy the Core for that section. Once the core is destroyed you are free to tear the Titan section apart as you see fit.

The Titan Back Part Does have a conning Tower. Very Plain to see. Core is up in that Tower. And I clearly stated that in my reply. Perhaps you missed it? Also the Locker you seek is in that tower as well.

I am not at the back part, I am at the middle part where the game told me to go.

Go back to the Back part..............................get the Missing Data from the Tower locker. Then go to Middle section again.

I went back to the back section and destroyed the core. Thing is I onle went back cuz U told me too, the game did NOT. It said find the middle, then said search lockers for signal. It did not say go back to middle, so I was searching the middle over and over again till I gave up..

So at least I can salvage this now for some scrap.

The TITAN MID Section info tells you to search on one of the ENDS of the ship. There is a small container with the signal.

ok, well I read it as seach one end of THAT part. Ok that on is on me, I misunderstood. Doesn't really matter anyway as I have that no data bug.. In fact I think I found the signal thing cuz box was ticked after I went back to the rear section and found the core.

Well luckily I have a backup copy of my save just before going to the wreck and have reloaded it. So do I still need to try that fix again, (it didnt work on original save), or has this new patch rectified the issue?
