Edit: I see you've already tried this, along with some support from Piddlefoot in the bugs forum.
You might try reading the topic over there where your bug post originally was. Disabling things like the Windows Game overlay, etc can sometimes help.
You can additionally try a Windows Clean Boot[support.microsoft.com], to see if any other programs are interfering. And you can try disabling EAC in Empyrion when starting it.
steamapps\Common\Empyrion - Galactic Survival
& right click on EmpyrionLauncher.exe & run as admin to see if that makes a difference ?
(Filename: C:\buildslave\unity\build\Runtime/Mono/MonoManager.cpp Line: 945) but we dont have the sourse code so cant find why its failing cpp Line: 945
Is there any other log created in this location:
C:\Users\'YourUserNameHere'\AppData\LocalLow\Eleon Game Studios\Empyrion - Galactic Survival
open the crashes folder & check the dates & times if any crash folders are made in this location that match the date & time the client_log was generated from the logs folder:
SteamLibrary\steamapps\Common\Empyrion - Galactic Survival\Logs
if there is can you also zip this up & attach it with the client log ?
Thanks.
