Where do i find magnesium besides akua moon?

You'll need to do some travelling...

On a fresh start with medium ore settings a while ago.

Aitis had an 1800 magnesium deposit.
Masperon had 1200 and 314 ore deposits.
Masperon moon had a 4300 deposit.
Alien Outpost had a magnesium asteroid.

On the flip side, if you're planning on taking on POIs...you'll probably want rockets, and the ammo for those *does* take magnesium.

I just found a mine on Akua's moon with about 200 magnesium. For some reason the wiki states it's no longer a mine product, but can only be found in POI's, but that must be outdated. That said, there was only one spot on the moon where I found it, so it certainly wasn't abundant. But it's possible, because it just happened about 30 min ago, as of this writing.

To be honest...the wiki is very, very, *very* outdated at this point.
