How do I fire all my weapons from the commanders seat????

When I enter the seat with F I see a lot of numbers at the bottom. Only 1 of my weapons is in the number 1 block but I have lots of other weapons on my ship. How do I place different weapons on the numbered blocks below so I can fire them??

Currently you can only fire one weapon type at a time. So if you have gatling guns in slot 1, rockets in slot 2, and rail guns in slot three, you can fire just rockets, just gats, or just railguns, but you can't fire all at once.

They'll add automatially. Fixed turrets are the only ones that will appear in the bar at the bottom of the screen since those do not fire automatically. If you have rotating turrets they work automatically. You can access them through the conctrol panel. Press P to open, click the tab that says devices, locate your turrets, select one, and you'll have an option to access it and control it manually. That's the only way to access those right now.

I do hope they add more options for controls, like ones I tried to test some of the blueprints that came with the game in and spawned them in creative mode. And seems they come with the guns disabled and you have to go through the cumbersome P menu method to activate them. Not realy the best and savest thing to do in mid combat, and I can imagine you want to shut the weapons down again after a fight to save on power.

And I think in that aspect Space Engineers have solved it pretty neatly on how to put stuff on hotbars. You can configure it so that you can control every block individually or a self defined group of blocks.

I think your issue is that you are wanting to fire space weapons inside orbit. There are only certain weapons that can be fired while inside the orbit of a planet. So keep that in mind.

That's why you are not seeing them more than likely.
