Blueprints and the factory
Hi,
I have discovered the blueprints and the factory by pressing F2.

So I put in the ingredients for the HV I wanted sent it to the factory and nothing happened after the timer counted down. Do I need to build a factory to receive the HV? Where did my ingredients go?

In other words, HELP!

Thanx,

Press F2 and look at the top. There should be a line with something to the effect of completed blueprints. Just click it and click Spawn in the bottom right.

This is such a common question. I was lost my first time too. Maybe can add some info to pop up when ship is done to look at list to find it.

Also, as a tip. People play differently, but you can have a few ships queued up ready to spawn. Use how you want. Can help if shot down on a moom or something to get you home.

Well, flying is not my thing. Took me a while to get it going then had a hard time going the direction I wanted.

Left it upside down in the water and have pretty much decided the motorcycle is as mobile as I am going to get! lol

I find small vehicles are easier to fly then hv's, you can get some that unlock as early as level 5

I may try again, but not right away. Got to do some mining for the resources and review the controls more.

When upside down in the water - press "O", then press Shift+Space

Excellent advice. Use the O key to auto-level the HV. Use it often if the HV is wobbly.

Some HV designs are really poor so try to pick one that works well for what you're trying to do.

The main problem is the ones that use "hover thrusters" which only lift to 1.5m and so you always get stuck in the water and ram into stuff all the time. Those are intended for really small cheap "hovercycle" type HVs that aren't usually all that useful.

I would skip the "hovercycle" HV's that use hover thrusters and build a "real" HV that uses hover engines. Those will hover to 3m and so are not constantly getting stuck on obstacles and water.

Thanx everyone for the pointers. I'll check it out and see how it works for me.
